A thriving library helps build a thriving community! Choose to support your library on Give to the Max Day each November by becoming a member of or renewing your membership for the Friends of the Duluth Public Library! All contributions given to the Friends of the Duluth Public Library on Give to the Max Day and throughout the year benefit our three library branches. Funds raised are used toward the purchase of resources and equipment such as books, database services, computers and e-readers. In addition, contributions help fund many library programs including the Kaleidoscope Series, which is a free entertainment series for children held throughout the summer in the downtown library’s plaza.
